ISLAMABAD, Aug 18 (APP):Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on Sunday, expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of lives and property caused by the recent rains across the country.
In a message, he extended his heartfelt condolences to the affected families, assuring them that the Parliament and the entire nation stand with them during this difficult time.
The Speaker urged the relevant authorities to collaborate with provincial governments to ensure the immediate provision of relief to the affected people and to expedite recovery efforts.
Ayaz Sadiq also offered prayers for those who lost their lives in various accidents during the rains and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
